| QUALIFIED BY: More than 20 years consulting for large corporations, small businesses, non-profit associations, government agencies and educational institutions (in Canada, the US, Europe and Russia); 28 years of highly successful teaching, public speaking and course and seminar development experience in business and at universities; 20 years of progressive, results oriented business experience (8 years as a director of business education programs, and 5 years as Executive Vice-President of a national association); Business teaching and consulting experience includes: strategic planning, business ethics, presentation skills, instructor training, negotiating techniques, meeting facilitation and creative problem solving. |
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS: Designed, wrote and taught instructor training programmes adopted by associations and companies in Canada, the US, Russia, Hungary and Poland; Developed a results and action oriented planning methodology, and conducted strategic planning sessions for more than 30 private companies and associations; Developed and taught courses and seminars in ethics and business practice (in English and French) attended by over 1,500 participants; Advanced a national non-profit association in Canada from a members' equity deficit to a reserve fund in excess of 20% of annual expenses, in less than 4 years; Awarded the international REEAs Most Outstanding Education Program of the Year Award in 1988, and the Best Single Education Program Award for 1995 (both for courses designed to train instructors); Written books on teaching and presentation skills - published in English (US and Canadian editions), French, Russian, Hungarian and Polish; Able to teach, write and consult in French. |
