Simon Vieyra has experience in several areas connected with business ethics and professional practice:
                               
               developing written codes of ethics/business practice/professional practice
               for companies, associations and interest groups;

               developing and delivering training programs, seminars, courses and short
               presentations;

               developing case studies and course materials for use by corporations and
               training organizations; and

               researching needs in business ethics programming, including specific
               problem solving and corporate orientation.

Simon Vieyra’s work in ethics reflects a unique combination between his academic
background in philosophy and historical writings on the subject, and practical experience with the development,
implementation and enforcement of codes of ethics and practice, in professional associations, businesses
and the workplace.

PERSONAL ETHICS CHECK

1.     IS IT LEGAL?  Does it violate any relevant standards?
        i.e. laws, regulations, policies, religious or professional standards, etc.

2.     IS IT FAIR AND BALANCED (for all concerned)?
        Is it fair to everyone both now and in the future?
        Does it result in the greatest happiness (distribution of goods)
        for the greatest number of people (or the least unhappiness)?

3.     HOW WILL IT MAKE ME FEEL ABOUT MYSELF
        Will it make me proud?
        Would I feel good if my decision was published in the newspaper?
        Would I feel good if my family knew about it?
        What would the "all-knowing gatekeeper" say on judgement day?
